Over the years Charisma Church has grown to become a place where people develop an authentic relationship with God and genuine relationships with their culturally diverse church family. Our worship is real, alive and passionate. It is obvious that God is present in our services; the ministry of the Word is true, challenging and encouraging. God is always speaking, convicting and changing us.
Charisma strives to Love God, Love People and Let Everyone Know

Charisma Believes

  • In the infallibility of the scriptures.
  • That Jesus is God’s Son and the only sacrifice for sin.
  • That man must be born again to receive eternal life.
  • In the virgin birth and deity of the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • That Jesus rose bodily from the dead.
  • In the infilling of the Holy Spirit.
  • In the present day working of the Holy Spirit.

What is a Service Like?

At Charisma Church we believe that God wants to have a genuine, powerful relationship with each one of us. Our services will challenge you like never before to follow God with all your heart. You will find our services to be casual, high-energy, convicting, heart-felt, and fun. Many people say this is the best part of their week!

What's A Service Like: Pre-Service

You will find us in the lobby munching on some donuts, drinking some coffee, talking, and laughing in a lively atmosphere. It is a great time to make some new friends or to be encouraged by your old friends. Don’t miss it!

What's A Service Like: Worship

We begin the service with about 30 minutes of powerful praise and worship. Our band consists of drums, guitars, keyboards and vocals doing the newest worship songs. The words are projected onto our video screen so that the congregation can worship together. Everyone is encouraged to sing, clap, dance or lift their hands as we lift up the name of Jesus. We don’t want to just simply sing, but instead worship God with all of our heart, soul, mind and strength!

What's A Service Like: The Message

The Message

Pastor Sean ministers for about 30 minutes in an energetic, relevant way. He uses PowerPoint slides, physical illustrations, video roll-ins, stories and humor to communicate the life-changing Gospel of Jesus Christ. His goal is to challenge and encourage everyone present to live out God’s principles in everyday life. God is transforming so many lives during this powerful time of ministry.

What's A Service Like: Conclusion

The service usually concludes with a time of applying the message to our own lives as well as an opportunity for anyone to make Jesus Christ the Lord of their lives. There is also a time of prayer for people who need healing or want to be baptized in the Holy Spirit. We close, after some announcements and the offering, encouraged to do what God has called us to do.

Pastor Sean Park

About Pastor Sean

Pastor Sean Park is a spirit-filled, dynamic preacher who will make sure you never leave a church service without being challenged in your walk with God.

He began in ministry in 1990 as the youth and music minister at Reimage Church in Greenville, NC, and then moved on to work with a national youth ministry that reached out to youth across America through conventions and television.

In 2001, he was called to start a church in Raleigh, NC. With a background in music as well as preaching, Pastor Sean brings a diversity to ministry and ushers in the presence of the Holy Spirit on Sunday mornings.

One minute he is ministering on the keyboard, and the next he is pulling people out of the crowd to help illustrate a point.

He isn’t your typical pastor… you never know what to expect from a Charisma church service!
